Our Mission
Our mission is to support moms, babies, and families across the Texas Panhandle. We work to prevent complications like preeclampsia, reduce barriers to care, and connect families with the services and support they deserve.

Our vision is simple: healthy moms, healthy babies, and strong communities; today and for generations to come.

Leadership Structure

VIBRANT MOMS is led by a team of principal investigators, project staff, and coalition partners across the Texas Panhandle. Together, they guide the project’s strategy and ensure accountability to both the community and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Guided by Community and Collaboration

Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG)
Our LEAG is made up of mothers, families, and community members who share their lived experiences with pregnancy and postpartum care. They review public materials, provide community context, and help make sure our messages reflect all local voices.

Decision Making
Decisions are made collaboratively through input from investigators, coalition members, and the LEAG. When challenges arise, we use a conflict resolution process designed to ensure fairness, and transparency, giving all partners a voice in how the project moves forward.
