Maternal Vulnerability Index
The U.S. Maternal Vulnerability Index (MVI) developed, by Survo Ventures, is the first county-level, national-scale, open-source tool to identify where and why mothers in the United States are vulnerable to poor health outcomes. Six MVI themes reflect 43 indicators associated with maternal health outcomes.
Child Opportunity Index (COI)
DiversityDataKids.org has released a new tool that shows how much opportunity children have to grow up healthy, safe, and successful at the county level!

The Child Opportunity Index (COI) looks at things like school quality, access to parks and healthy food, housing, and family income. It gives a score to show how well a community supports children’s development and future success.

Until now, the COI only showed data by neighborhood. But starting this May, you can now see county-wide scores for 2012, 2017, and 2021. This is a big deal because counties are where a lot of important decisions are made about health, education, and community resources.
