Meet Diane

Born in Levelland, Diane Garcia now calls Amarillo, TX home, where she lives with her husband and is a proud mother of three and grandmother of five. With a career spanning 14 years at TTUHSC, Diane recently obtained her Community Health Worker (CHW) certification through DSHS in May. Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, Diane brings a valuable perspective to her work in community health. Previously, Diane contributed to a project focused on colorectal cancer screening, demonstrating her commitment to improving health outcomes in her community. Beyond her professional achievements, Diane cherishes her role as a dog mom to Toby, a beloved Shih Tzu. Her dedication to family, community health, and lifelong learning defines her journey at TTUHSC and beyond.
