Casa del Llano, Inc. is a nonprofit community resource center based in Hereford, Texas, dedicated to empowering the Hispanic and immigrant populations of the Texas Panhandle. Guided by its mission, “Dando la Mano al Hermano” (“Giving a Hand to a Brother”), the organization offers a wide range of services aimed at fostering self-sufficiency, education, and community connection.

Established in 2000, Casa del Llano provides essential services including job placement assistance, weekly job fairs, translation and notary services, and support with immigration paperwork. The center also offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, citizenship preparation, computer literacy courses, and workplace literacy programs. In addition to educational and employment services, Casa del Llano addresses basic needs by distributing diapers, baby formula, and food to families in need.

Joseph’s Project is a comprehensive pregnancy and parenting support program operated by Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle. Designed to serve expectant mothers and families with children under the age of three, the program offers personalized education, resources, and emotional support during some of the most critical stages of early family life.

Through one-on-one mentorship, parenting classes, and material assistance, Joseph’s Project aims to equip parents with the tools they need to build stable, nurturing environments for their children. In addition to practical guidance, the program fosters long-term well-being by encouraging positive parenting practices and strengthening family bonds.

By addressing both immediate needs and future goals, Joseph’s Project plays a vital role in supporting maternal and child health across the Texas Panhandle.
